Both Balcers and Batherson playing well so far tonight with Nick Paul. Not sure who gets next call up.

I think Duchene will put some in on Saturday.Saturdays game is a good barometer as to where this team really stands playing against another team that may be playing above their salary grade currently.
My feeling about Tkachuk is maybe they should send him to B-ville for a month once he is fully healed.. i know he has been terrific and so far looks like he belongs in the big league. I think in the big picture it would help him(career) and tthe O-Sens (long term)and the B-Sens (now). Its a tough decision to make . Either way of staying or going i can see the logic.

While they're scoring in bursts, that top line seems to be very successful right now.

The problem with that is I'm pretty sure he isn't eligible to be assigned to Belleville. I believe if Tkachuk isn't on the Sens roster he has to be assigned to the London Knights. I could be wrong, but that was my understanding of the situation.

Thanks. I did not know that. Is it an age thing? But between junior and NHL choice, definetly NHL.

Because Tkachuck played college and did not sign a junior contract, he can go to the AHL. He could also go to London but it is his and the Sen's choice. Formenton, on the other hand, has played in the OHL and has a preexistant contract and if he is sent down he must go to the OHL.

Listened to Belleville coach Troy Mann interview and he was very positive about Batherson and Balcers. No doubt in his mind Batherson plays in NHL soon.
